Getting to Vladimir

A number of major airlines, including Aeroflot International, Delta, and all the major European international airlines, can get you to Moscow. Flight schedules and current prices are available from any of the internet travel services or your local travel agency.

Once in Moscow you can travel to Vladimir by train, bus, or car. This can take between 2 and 2-1/2 hours (by train), or 3 to 5 hours by bus or car (depending on traffic). The most convenient way to get there is to arrange for a car or bus (depending on how many people you are traveling with) to meet you at the airport or your Moscow hotel. A car and driver sent from Vladimir should cost no more than $150 for the one-way trip. The trains and busses are much less expensive, but you have to get from the airport or your hotel to the train or bus station. Be aware that airport taxis in Moscow can cost as much as a car and driver that will safely take you all the way to Vladimir. Ask a Vladimir travel agency for help.
